With the sudden wake and surge of COVID19, to address few of the challenges prevailing in the society, Cholan Groups wanted to step into the new arena of addressing the challenges society has been facing since last December. The prevalent spread and presence of Corona Virus is the foremost reason preventing the countries to resume their normal functionalities on the whole. In view of coining a solution, a new vertical by name UVC Life Light was started with an aim to research, design and manufacture UVC Based Disinfection Devices, which can solve multitude of environmental issues impacting the society.
The breakthrough of using UVC irradiations, which had been proved to kill 99.99% of virus and bacteria sounded to be an ideal solution and UVC Life Light started designing the devices to suit the requirements of people across. We proudly record that all our products are completely “Make In India”, with all the raw materials procured in domestic markets. Our products have been endorsed by the StartUp India scheme under Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
The UVC Based Disinfection devices are designed, developed, manufactured and validated with in-house R&D team and associated vendors together and few of our products are CE certified and also validated for UV irradiance by CSIR-CSIO, a prominent testing facility functioning under Government Of India. So far, ten products are introduced in a row to suit the demands and requirements of different categories of people and places. Right from using a 20L UVC Disinfectant Bag, an easily foldable and portable device to UVC Blaster, a complete sterilizer for huge commercial spaces, UVC Life Light is involved in developing range of products aiming to transform our entire ambience into a virus-free one.
As UVC rays are scientifically harmful to living things if exposed continuously, we take extreme care in designing our devices so as to ensure that the end users are not exposed to UV irradiation. To the maximum possible extent, fitting of UVC lamps are designed to cover the target area and not on any other user unless specifically interrupted. Also, technologies are introduced in our designs for automatic cut-off of UVC lamps when doors of the devices are pre-emptively opened.
